Time for a Minister for Dublin – Richmond

Following revenue figures released today to the Fine Gael Party that show that Dublin pays more than half of all the tax paid in the country despite accounting for only one quarter of the population, local Cllr Neale Richmond has called on Fine Gael in Government to create a specific Minister for Dublin.

BURST WATER MAIN – BALLINTEER

Water-supplyI have been advised by the Council that there is a burst watermain in Pine Valley.

This is affecting water supply in Pine Valley and Kingston in Ballinteer, as well as some surrounding areas.

In advance of the official opening of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council’s newly redeveloped 9 hole Marlay Golf Course a Special Sneak Peek Preview will take place at the venue on Friday 21st May.

Situated within the Council’s picturesque Marlay Park on Dublin’s Southside, Marlay Golf Course is a distinctive Par 3 layout that will provide affordable golf for all; from young to old and from the experienced club player to somebody new to the game.

Using state of the art technology and the latest generation of synthetic grasses the greens and tees have been developed to tournament standard. This comprehensive redevelopment will ensure that the greens remain in peak condition and will be playable year round with no requirement to close for frost or other weather related reasons.

Marlay Golf Course will re-open to the public on Friday 21st May.

The course had been closed to the public for a number of years but it has been completely remodeled with a new pavilion and top class golfing facilities.
