Local Fine Gael representative for Glencullen Cllr Neale Richmond has welcomed the decision by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to install traffic lights at the Glencullen Crossroads.

Time for a Minister for Dublin – Richmond

Following revenue figures released today to the Fine Gael Party that show that Dublin pays more than half of all the tax paid in the country despite accounting for only one quarter of the population, local Cllr Neale Richmond has called on Fine Gael in Government to create a specific Minister for Dublin.

Anti-Litter & Anti-Graffiti Awareness Grants 2010

DSC_0001Is your organization planning a project to target anti-litter measures and raise awareness on the issue of litter or graffiti?

If you are, you may be eligible for a grant towards the cost of the project. Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council wish to invite submissions from community groups, schools, Tidy Towns Committees or other organizations who are interested in receiving funding to co-fund public education and awareness initiatives on the subject of litter or graffiti.

Completed submissions should be made to the Environmental Awareness Officer of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council not later than Wednesday 30th June, 2010.

Water Conservation Measures in The Glencullen Area

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council are experiencing a high demand for water, which is placing significant strain on the local water supply in the Glencullen Area.

Please use any water supplied from the public mains as conservatively as possible especially in relation to non-essential uses such as car washing, watering your garden, or other outdoor purposes.
