Richmond recruits for Young Fine Gael

UCD 2010a YFG Recruit

Cllr. Neale Richmond today joined Olivia Mitchell TD to recruit for Young Fine Gael in UCD as part of the 2010 Freshers Week Recruitment Campaign.

“As a former member of UCD Young Fine Gael and a current member of Dublin South Young Fine Gael I am delighted to be out recruiting for our party. It is vital that Fine Gael forms a young, energetic Government as soon as possible and I look forward to Deputy Mitchell leading the Fine Gael ticket in Dublin South” commented Cllr Richmond, the youngest ever Leas-Chathaoirleach of Dun Laogahire Rathdown County Council.

“Young people are being worst hit by this continuing recession as thousands of youngsters including many friends of mine are simply having to emigrate. This Government has completely failed young Ireland driving our best and brightest abroad or into poverty, arrogantly assuming many young people are simply going away for a long holiday.

“We need change and we need it now”
